		<description>Your attention to detail is remarkable, Bill.  I think the most daring of us used to make our way down to the sawdust piles near Marine Dr. to risk life and limb sliding down the Mt Everests of wood chip piles. 

I loved heading out over the old Fraser Bridge. My dad would take us to a pool out in Richmond along that route. I left the area at the start of grade 4 so my memories stop there (duh).

		<description>I can remember smokes costing 66 cents a pack back then. At the D and I market it was candy to the right, pop to the left and no tofu in sight. 
If someone was really went on an adventure then went down to the Blue Boy hotel or for the truley gutsy the old Fraser Street Bridge.</description>
