A Red Tara Day

Post Insert Jacquie

I woke up this morning at 5:30, then again at 6, then 6:55…you get the idea.  I’m feeling like I have nothing to rant about, nothing major happening in my life to share and a bit like I’m suffering from sensory or information overload.

With technology these days it’s possible to keep up with so many goings on in the world that the really important stuff can sometimes get crowded out or over-shadowed by the next big story.   I feel like my head is too full of sad images of kidnappings, David Carradine in a compromising position (poor guy), Madonna’s stringy, tendony arms and the firing of Miss California, Carrie Prejean.

I think today is a good day for me to turn off the computer, the TV and the car radio.  I’m not even going to listen to CDs.  The weather has been amazing lately and the gardens around town are looking pretty fresh and colourful so I think I’ll take the time to notice them and…ok, maybe I won’t actually stop and smell them!  But I’ll see them.

The Tibetan Goddess Tara is  a generic name for  a set of Buddhas who represent all aspects of femininity.   The best known ones are represented by certain colours; White Tara, Green Tara, Black, Red, Blue and Yellow.   Today I feel like channeling Red Tara.  She represents our more aggressive nature and is associated with the magnetizing of all good things.   I’m going to interpret this to mean that if I actively focus on the good stuff around me then more will be drawn to me.  The law of attraction at work again!

If you’re at a Starbucks around noon today I’ll be the one in the red dress.

I can totally relate Jacquie! That pretty much sums up my week so far actually.
You are on the right track with your focusing on the good and I will bet you find inspiration in that!
I’d like to say “Have a wonderful day” although I doubt you’ll have your computer on to get the message…and that’s ok. :)

I am going to send you messages telepathically throughout the day and I know you will recieve them because I am completely aware today that you do get back exactly what you put out there, I can prove it!!! T xo

… its nice to disappear and NOT be pulled into that ever tightening spiral of information over load… It sounds like you feel obligated to seek, listen & absorb everything presented to you… There may be times when that focus is needed and times when it is not… I sense success in your actions simply from your self assessment… I know too many people that endlessly seek & carry the burden of over information…. Ironically your awareness will likely bring you the calm you seek. Smiles….

How soon will you update your blog? I’m interested in reading some more information on this issue.
