I have known Laurie for almost 20 years and not only is her artwork breathtaking but she is one of the nicest and funniest people I know.

Jake I KNEW you would love Laurie’s art! I have loved your artistic style for years with the way you use colour so to see florals used without it is so different, you have introduced me to this art form and I love that I introduced you to another artist. Laurie’s artwork is amazing! I can really see her graphic design background in her large, structured florals and colour choices. Very Georgia O’Keefe, in fact. I love ‘in your face’ close-cropped, large-scale paintings. Lots of artists try this but it’s easy to wind up with something that looks static and forced, while Laurie’s still have flow and softness and personality.

I love that you introduced me to an artist I hadn’t seen before, Tracy! Thanks so much! What a great way to start my morning!
