Challenge Yourself ~

TracyNo matter what challenges appear before me, I will survive. Whether the challenge is career based, facing rejection in matters of the heart, or financial reconstruction, life goes on. Life is about connections, forming relationships whether in business or personal areas of your life.

I recently started a new job where my co-workers have blown me away with how much support and patience they give me each day. I entered into this position a little out of my element having never worked in this particular field before. I am a creative, and didn’t see the bridge between creatives and the financial world before. When you get support from your colleagues you can’t help but step up and face the challenge with a positive outlook. Just as in matters of the heart, support from friends and family always helps in making decisions, whether we want to take a chance on love or walk away! Support!

I have the strength and determination to follow this journey called life to find out what it’s all about. I love the challenge and have a great supportive network waiting in the wings to help when needed. I don’t often ask for help but when you enter a completely different career, let me tell you the questions are endless! I wonder if by chance the Universe chose this path to teach and prepare me for the next chapter in my life. In the past I associated asking for help with weakness, I see now it has nothing to do with being weak. I am not weak, I am simply returning to be a student in life once again. The dots are starting to connect!

“I’m still learning” ~ Michelangelo at age 87.

I take chances. I love change. Risk is not a scary word…most days, but I am human and feel the effects now and then. I am not afraid to start over. I have faith that the life I am leading has a greater purpose than my career path, or whether I own my home, or find a man worthy of my love.

It matters not to me if everything I have is taken away, what I need to survive is safe deep inside or just a phone call away. I am grateful to be here spending my time with inspiring human beings. Inspiration is all around us!

I always wondered why I entered into the film business in my early twenties, it was not a passion of mine nor was I interested in seeking fame or fortune. I fell in love with stories. I took part in making them happen for many years until I had my two amazing kids, and then nothing else mattered but being with them. My own story became more important than make belief. Reality is always thought of as a dream crushing expression. Reality is amazing if you take a moment to be in it. No matter what you do, make your reality redefine your dreams. Enjoy each moment you have, life is short. Savour the relationships you have and don’t be afraid to build more! Build, nurture and expand your circle!

What I have learned over the last month is that although I entered a new path in life that I would have bet against in my younger years, you don’t really know where you fit in until you try it on for size. You may be surprised at what you find out! So I say walk down the path on which you stand, step out of your comfort zone now and then and see how vast and endless your horizons become! There are no limits to where you can go and who you can bring with you!

Exploring Male Energy

When you meet someone new it takes time to get to know who they are deep inside. Once you get past the surface layer and start to explore, the real unfolding begins. Social profiling happens naturally, giving us a clue into who someone is inside. Does he drive a Hummer, Smart Car or Hot Rod? Does he live in the City or out in the Burbs? What does he do for a living, Artist, Accountant, Fireman? What you see on the outside is not always what is on the inside. You need to dig deeper.

What someone spends their day doing can be a reflection of what interests them, sometimes, but we don’t all find ourselves immersed in our passion as a way of making a living. What matters is that we have passion somewhere within our day. Each individual soul placed on earth is here for their journey following their path. We are drawn to certain people for many different reasons. I like to think everyone has something to teach me whether it be a little or large lesson, I am open.

Our heart is what’s most important. Finding out what make it beat is the fun part. What feeds his soul? Where does he find inspiration? What does he aspire to do when he grows up? šŸ˜‰ What is he doing to make a difference in the world? What makes his blood boil? What makes his heart race? What brings him to the point of no return? What brings him to his knees? What topic of conversation intrigues his intellect? What are his religious beliefs? What makes him giggle? What scares him? What part of the woman’s body does he find most erotic? Where are his erogenous zones? What was his most embarrassing moment? Has his heart been broken? Those are questions that are on my mind when I meet someone new. They don’t need to be answered right away but they are floating in the back of my subconscious.

It takes time for our true colours to shine. Everyone has had a struggle here or there, I view those moments as an opportunity for character building. Isn’t it more important how someone deals with less favourable situations than the perfect ones? We all make choices in life to where we are going, some earlier than others. Does it matter what we do as much as how we do it? Have we lost the desire to find out what really matters because we lack the time and energy to do so? Do we have the patience anymore to take the time to get to know someone, I mean really know someone!

Before you start to explore the male energy write down what it is you want his energy to radiate. Here are a few things on my wish list…care to add what’s on yours?

Passion, intellectually stimulating, sensual, romantic, sense of humour, spiritual, healthy, creative, unselfish, confident, affectionate, loves children, loves to travel, compassionate, inner strength, sexual compatibility, chemistry, loves life, strong moral values, integrity, loves nature!

Time and patience is the only true way to find out what is deep beneath the surface.

Inspiration is All Around Us!

I was inspired by Bonnie and John while visiting them in Vernon last week. It’s so obvious when you’re in their presence that they’re still so in-love.Ā I found myself smiling each time I caught them having a moment. It’s awesome to see your best friend happily married to a great man that you absolutely love! They are definitely not edging towards a statistic in their marriage. You can see in their eyes that they appreciate the time they have together. Seizing moments and making each one count. Love is inspiring!

l am inspired by a friend of mine Ryan. I posted about his blog a couple of times when he took an adventure to Africa to become a Safari Guide. Ryan in Africa.Ā He lives life on the edge…his edge, which is much different from everyone else’s! He has such a thirst for life that never quite gets quenched. He’s definitely living while he’s alive! When you’re in his company you can’t help but want to touch him in hopes that his infectious attitude rubs off on you, even just a little bit! He said he “lives life with no fear, apologizes for nothing, doesn’t regret his mistakes, learns from them because sometimes his mistakes produce the best results!” That’s inspiring! Love the man and can’t wait to see where his next adventure takes him. Ryan inspires me!

I am inspired by my friend Kirk who I admireĀ for leaving a great career in special effects in the film industry for music. He followed his passion for music making a career out of it.Ā Sound Lounge Productions a recording studio was born from Kirk following his dream. He took a chance in life that not many would have had the courage to do. Kirk spends his day with creative souls who also have a dream that he helps them reach, how sweet is that! Check out Kirks bandĀ SWANK, you’ll loveĀ them! He is living proof that if you believe in yourself, work hard and do what you love…they will come! Kirk inspires me continually! He was kind enough to take time out of his busy day to show my kids and I around his studio, it was awesome! His tools are drums, guitars and lots of fun buttons how fun is that! You choice is looking good on ya Kirk! Thank you for the music lesson we loved it immensely! Following your dream is inspiring!

So if you take the time to open your eyes there truly is inspiration all around you! These are just a few things that caught my eye last week. Inspiration comes in so many different forms…what inspires you? Care to share some inspiration with us? Inspiration moves us in the right direction…

I saw this posted on Facebook. It basically summed it up for me and although you may have seen it, it is something you couldn’t possibly read too many times.
