Life is a Journey ~

To-Thine-Ownself-be-true-2

She was born pure at heart, mind, body and soul. She would walk a path that was to teach her lessons she so deeply needed to learn. Lessons she signed up for long before birth. She had an agreement with the Angels who were to guide her along the way. She would call upon them in times of need and trust they were at her side. She stepped into this world with her own agreement with souls who were also on a journey, crossing her path from time to time. Their adventures together would last a lifetime. Each soul that stood before her was a lesson waiting in the wings.

Guided by her Angels, she began her journey with a clear conscience that would remind her where she was safe to travel, that one day would lead her back home.

As she evolved into a strong independent young woman her life started to blossom. She spread her wings and took flight. She was not meant to always understand the path in which she traveled but to have faith it would lead her to where she was meant to be, in time. Her journey would teach her the importance of living a life true to self. A life free of ego, filled with acceptance.

“To Thine Own Self Be True” ~ Shakespeare

There was a greater plan for this free spirit that would take her decades to recognize. Her heart was filled with love, it was her purpose to share this gift with those she intuitively knew needed to feel it. She was truly born a love child.

Not always aware of the presence of her guidance she fearlessly walked where many did not. There were signs along the way that gave her an unknown source of comfort. A comfort that radiated from within her. A comfort she was soon to understand from where it came.

She is a woman with a strong sense of self. A woman who blazes trails of her own. A woman who fights for her rights. She is a woman that believes in the power of words, and the actions that follow. She gives hope to the underdog. She is a woman who is able to settle her fear, if for just a moment to allow the voices she knows to be true, lift her spirit.

She strives to make it to the end with her dignity and self respect intact. To lay on her bed of death knowing she made a difference in the lives of others. To have felt love, gave love unconditionally to those who stood before her. She is a woman who holds her values close, her morals high while reaching for the stars from out of this world into the next.

She finds herself surrounded by peace, love, faith and understanding.

She finds herself back home.

The Epitome of a Man

He arrived true to who he was. His look made her giggle like a school girl who balanced on the edge of desire. She watched him for a moment as he set his ride to the side. He slowly exposed who he was behind the facade that most could not see through. She walked toward him patiently taking in that first moment that was never to be again. She was enveloped in his presence before she even had a chance to see his eyes. She could feel him. For the first time in her life she needed not to look into the soul of the one who stood before her, his being was all around her, drawing her in like a curious child.

He shed his armour as she approached. He removed the lenses that kept his distance from the world that surrounded them. In that moment she knew by the look in his eyes that he was the kindred spirit she was meant to embrace.

The Angels that brought them together swirled around in their presence with light that would shine upon the Gods forever with the love they brought together.

A true gentleman, he reached politely for her hand with his, that adorned a story she needed to hear. The moment his hand touched hers she felt his entirety. There would be no regret in this first moment together. She reached out, opening her vulnerability and wrapped her arms around him. Her exposed cheek gently touched the hair that cloaked his jaw. The tender skin that covered her heart could feel his beat through the leather that protected his core. Her inner thigh brushed his ever so slightly sending her to a place she barely recognized. He emanated the truth he held deep within his soul.

…and then he spoke, and her heart began to open.

His gentle tone and eloquent choice of words assured her that he was deep with meaning and filled with love. As she gazed across the table listening and feeling his truth, his passion and desire captured her wrapping her safety in his arms.

He was the epitome of a man…

The Whole Journey, Life Itself ~

This post is for Rick, one of our much appreciated regular Tara followers! Rick continues to use his voice by giving us his male point of view and we appreciate it. He’s very passionate about life and the meaning behind it. He asked me on my bio page to tackle the topic, The Whole Journey, Life Itself. At first I was overwhelmed at just the thought of having to put down my view because it felt so vast a subject, bigger than me! But when a seed is planted and time passes, something eventually starts to grow! When I run I process all the little things that have been slotted in my subconscious, this was one of them. Here goes…

The Whole Journey, Life Itself ~

I think that at some point in every human beings life the thought or contemplation of what the purpose of life is, enters our mind. Why are we here? What happens when we leave our bodies? Do we believe in angels, the devil, guides, after-life or reincarnation? Nobody really knows for sure why we’re here, or where we go after-life, but we can all speculate on what we think happens. Religious beliefs are a personal choice. Everybody has unique ways of supporting their religion or spiritual beliefs. Regardless of what you believe or wish to believe, you can’t be guaranteed something that you have not experienced yourself. I suppose that is why it’s called faith. Regardless of who your God or Source is, if you have faith in something, it somehow makes the time here on earth more meaningful.

I personally think that the whole journey and life itself all comes down to what we accomplish while we are here. It’s about the time between A, birth, and B, death. It’s the dash that is between your birth, for me 1963 to your death that counts. It’s not about what materialistic items you can accumulate along the way, how big your house is or what your job is, it’s about knowledge. It’s about making a difference, enrich the lives of those you encounter while on your chosen path. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a teacher helping educate children, building movie sets, cleaning houses or a policemen keeping us safe, as long as you are doing something each day to contribute to the world we live in. What matters is that whatever you are doing, you do the best you can.Whether your wealthy or penniless, you are able to make a difference.

Each soul is here to learn something unique to them, each having a different journey in life. I do believe we are all connected, an energy, where this energy originated from, I am still unsure. I like to believe that there is more purpose to life than being human or I simply don’t see the point of living a one time only existence. It’s about knowledge and sharing that knowledge with those also seeking it. Sometimes I wonder if I am on the right path and then simply ask myself if I had nothing, absolutely nothing but my friends and family, would my path change? The answer is no, I would be doing just what I am now, trying to inspire, gain knowledge, enrich the lives of those around me and maintain my moral fibre. Who I am will not change regardless of my doings. If being here on earth for this one life is it, then we better get started on making that difference so that future generations can also have the opportunity to enjoy what life has to offer. We all have a conscience inside somewhere, we just need to experience doing the right thing to make us aware of how strong it can be.

So for me Rick, The Whole Journey, Life Itself is all about knowledge and doings.

And thanks for planting that seed!

Psychic Reading…

To Believe or Not to Believe is the question for many when it comes to clairvoyance. People in general are sceptical. Is it really possible a stranger could tell you about your past, present or future? I think most of us worry that we will hear bad news. Psychic readings are all about interpreting the cards and intuition. The mind is a powerful tool that we don’t fully understand. I trust my own intuition and instinct which have been right many times in my life. I think that whatever a psychic does tell you, you’re still left with the choice to change your path, so the outcome is up to the individual.

Edgar Casey and clairvoyance has intrigued me as far back as high school. I don’t consider myself a religious person but live my life spiritually. I love that our past is what makes us who we are, our present can be changed if we want to, and our future is always up for grabs. Our destiny is not written in stone, it can be altered if we are aware.

I have been drawn to psychics since I was in my twenties, and have had readings that would blow your mind, but not all clairvoyants should be treated equal. When one does hit a few nails smack on the head it can be pretty interesting. When a complete stranger tells you things that only you know, psychic ability has to be considered as a ‘possibility’.

Patricia read my Tarot Cards and touched on more than few elements of my life that I could not deny have been on my mind lately. Even if she found out my last name and Googled me, there were things she said she couldn’t have known unless she was part of my life, or she was a really good guesser! Patricia didn’t want me to give her information throughout my reading, she said less information gave her a clearer picture and didn’t influence her.

Patricia nailed my personality, she actually said I live in fluff and clouds with candy floss surrounding me, now that’s funny! I apparently don’t like reality very much! Yep that’s me! She identified the change in my relationship, told me what my kids were like and to be cautious going down stairs with no handrail or I would have a hard fall that could possibly break my leg. I was going to start doing stairs again with Carri but think I will heed that warning and put it off because there is no handrail at the track. She seemed to get the gist of what was going on in my life. Way too many coincidences to mention in this post but trust me, the hour was intense.

Patricia described in full detail a man who was going to be entering my life very soon “In a Big Way” name and all. Seriously isn’t this fun! Its like a game.

My favourite part, I have three angels, the first one was a little girl who died very young, very cheeky by nature, having never lived an adult life (I was told this 20 years ago by another psychic who was amazing) the second was my Aunt on my Mothers side who passed years ago, Margaret, she imitated her perfectly with a soft whisper. Margaret thinks I need some mothering of my own right now and reminds me to “just breathe”. There was another angel standing behind me which was a male energy but she couldn’t pick up anything in detail.

I didn’t NEED to have someone tell me what my past was like, I was there. I didn’t NEED to have someone tell me what I was doing right now, I am here. I didn’t NEED for someone to tell me what my future would bring, my future is now…now…and yes now! I had a reading because if I could peek into my future I would. I left my reading with a positive energy and with a little comfort that what I was doing on a daily basis was leading me in the direction I hope to be going in.

If given the chance to ask someone who has psychic ability questions, I think we would all give it a shot out of curiosity. I didn’t need a psychic to tell me any of this, but its thought provoking if nothing else. I will keep you posted if anything materializes! 🙂

Victoria’s Secret & Lingerie~

Tracy What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word lingerie?  If you said Victoria’s Secret you’re not alone.  I missed the show this year because I was trying to curb my sleep deprivation trend by getting to bed at a decent hour.  I heard that “The Biggest Loser” beat out the beautiful lingerie clad models by a whopping 2 million viewers.  The Biggest Loser had a colossal 10.3 million viewer while Victoria’s Secret only landed 8.3 million…only.  They say that not even a pleasantly plump Heidi Klum who walked the runway mere weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, couldn’t coax viewers to change the channel from the two-hour episode of NBC reality show. Heidi Klum

The Biggest Loser is packed full of great weight loss related information but I think it’s the heart felt stories that keep the viewers tuned in each week.  Considering that the majority of North America is overweight it doesn’t really surprise me.  But you have to remember that even lingerie models have body issues just like everyone else.  I think if next year they had plus size models as well as regular one they might actually have something.  I’d like to see women of all sizes confidently strut down the runway oozing sex appeal.  If you did tune in your certainly got your fair share of underwear!

Kylie Bisutti Victorias Secret ShowThis year the show also had a competition within it, Project Runway/America’s Top Model Search.  One young hottie would win her wings and become a Victoria’s Secret Angel and that would be Kylie Bisutti.  I have to admit that part doesn’t really appeal to me, I just want to see the fashion show with all the costumes, hair and make up.  If you missed it as I did here is a clip of the lingerie extravaganza.

It’s really quite the production!

There is not a woman out there who wouldn’t feel sexy in a pretty pair of panties, no matter what her size or shape may be.  But if you only have monster gonch in your pantie drawer you need to move them aside and make room for some sexy panties.  You will be glad you did even if it’s just for yourself.

Pantie talk~

Panties are thought to have originated in ancient times, when women wrapped long strips of fabric around themselves loincloth-style. Crotchless underwear was common in the 1800’s so that women were able to use the restroom without having to remove all of their skirts and undergarments.

After World War II, panties suddenly became decorative.  Women now had the option of buying patterned panties or panties made of interesting fabrics like nylon, lace and dacron.

It wasn’t until the 1960’s when panties became more fitted.  I am surprised that panties were even worn during this time !!  Women could chose between bikini, hip-hugger or traditional brief styles.

Thong panties didn’t become widely popular until the 1980’s.  I’m an 80’s girl!  Women in South America and exotic dancers had been wearing thongs for years but women weren’t able to buy the sexy garment until retailers like Victoria’s Secret and Frederick’s of Hollywood began manufacturing thongs, followed by g-strings.  (G-string is a very narrow string running between the buttocks in the shape of a T and thong being a V shaped fabric that has a little more fabric to it, but not much)  I know it sounds uncomfortable but you do get used to it, I promise!  Neither give you a panty line.

In the 1990’s, wearing exotic, erotic lingerie became publicly acceptable in America.  Sexy lingerie became increasingly popular as more and more women felt comfortable walking into stores like Frederick’s of Hollywood and Victoria’s Secret.

Today, women can choose from g-strings, thongs, crotchless panties, tanga shorts, boy shorts, bikinis… the choices are endless.  And we all have our favorites !!

In the Church of Wind….

RidingI’ve been riding motorcycles for about 14 years now off and on and  love it!  There is nothing like flying down the highway by the seat of your pants with the wind in your hair!  Everyone should experience that at least once in their life!  I highly recommend it at any age!

Riding as a passenger is a great way to experience the feeling of freedom motorcycles give you but there is truly no comparison to riding your own.  If I can do it, so can you.  I took the BC Safety Council course first and while I was learning to ride, I had a Black Fat Boy Harley Davidson on order.  I will never forget the adrenaline I felt the day I got the call that my bike was ready to be picked up!  Tracy's Fat Boy HDI was nervous with excitement and shaking with anticipation!  I remember riding on the highway for the first time.  I had to pull over because it was just too much for me, the excitement that is!  I kept looking down at the road  thinking if I just stepped off at 80 km an hour I would be toast!  I didn’t have the protection my Jeep gave me.  Your life depends on you paying attention.  I kept playing back in my mind when I was about 7 years old and rode a mini bike for the first time,  how I just gunned the throttle and ran into a tree.  This was not a mini bike but a 710 lb motorcycle that was like riding a Clydesdale horse in comparison to a Pony.

1992 Yamaha FZR1000I am not sure I would have ever rode unless Scott had inspired me to try it after being a passenger on his rice rocket for a couple of years.  I loved riding with him because I always felt that I was in good hands and I knew he would always keep me safe.  Riding as a passenger with him was like going on a thrilling ride at Disneyland at times.  He educated me on how motorcycles work so I completely understood what they were capable of doing.  I watched motorcycle racing to get the feel of what you could actually do without tipping over.  He took me up to Whistler and Cypress Mountain on several occasions so I could see for myself when you were almost sideways, able to touch the ground that was flying beneath you at a million miles an hour, you just learned to dance with the bike, not fight it.  He did make it feel like dancing.  You had to relax, let go of your fears and just go with the flow.  That is where my trust in this man started.  He should have raced bikes for a living, it is his one passion that he can not live without.  Riding literally changes his mood.  He needs to ride to have balance in his life and the smile on his face after a ride can not be duplicated by doing ANYTHING else.

Scott

Scott told me a story about the day he knew he loved motorcycles.  He was 5 years old and it goes like this.  He was driving with his Mom, Dad and Brother in their green Mercury Meteor going on holidays when he heard a rumbling coming up from behind their car.  He saw a motorcycle past by his window and then another and another, they just kept coming.  They started to come beside his brothers window so he sat up and looked out the back window of the car and there were motorcycles everywhere he looked.  They surrounded their car and kept coming for about 4 minutes straight.  It was a Notorious Motorcycle Club.  He remembers this experience like it was yesterday and told me there was nothing else like it for him as a boy.

single head lightsWe were out for a ride the other day flying down the highway when we passed a couple of motorcycles at the side of the road that looked like they were waiting to hook up with more.  I just knew at that moment the day would be a different.  We were cruising at 110 km when it started.  I looked in my mirror and saw nothing but single headlights as far back as I could see.  My heart started to race and the adrenaline was instantly pumping through my veins.  It felt like the first time I rode on the highway.  Within seconds I was riding beside a Motorcycle Club.  As the first one approached he looked over and acknowledged me, smiled, it felt surreal.  There was a wave of at least 50 riding side by side.  I couldn’t look away!  The only words that I can even think of to describe it was that it was like a religious experience!  When in your life do you ride down the highway along side 50 serious bikers and not ride off the road!  I rode up beside Scott after they thundered by us and we just smiled and knew we both felt the same.  The wave of bikers passed like a swarm of bees heading for the hive.  I asked myself  later that if they were just a bunch of guys out for a ride would it have been so exhilarating?  Not at all.  These guys had presence, there was a reason that it felt this way.  We slowly fell behind and watched the swarm of bikes disappear into the mountain pass.

We got to our destination and had a great lunch on the deck of  ‘Raven’s on the Beach’.  Very fitting as the Raven is one of  Tara’s creatures!  We went to ‘Dragonfly Gifts’ and I bought a Arya Tara necklace for the ride back.  After all she is the Protectress of Earthly and Spiritual Travel along the road to Enlightenment.  And I still needed to get back home!

It doesn’t matter what you ride just as long as you do.

I think I need another…Triumph ThruxtonTracy
