Mary, did you see ANTM last night? I really felt it was Celia's time to go and I thought her exit was elegant and graceful. I like how all the girls are getting along at this stage of the competition. Doesn't always happen.

Josie, I agree I would have headed straight for the finish line and had an 'accident' rather than risk being 'eliminated'. I don't think anyone watching the show would have 'held it' against her if she had done that.
Too many puns, so little time!

No doubt about it; for the million bucks I'd have pee-ed in my pants!! And yet,
I'm generally of the sort who don't feel comfortable in situations that draw attention. Truly. Proof: For my eldest daughter's church wedding ceremony I had gone the route of personal enhancement that's expected of mother-of -the bride : expensive coif; designer- tailored outfit, etc. In spite of all , I couldn't get up the nerve to walk the distance down the main aisle to the front row! (Pathetic, I know.) Instead, I blindly flew down a side aisle with the bewildered young ..page (can't think of the correct term right now) at a loss re how to handle the situation! Can anyone top that?

It's funny you mention the 'throw under the bus' term. I've never heard that term so many times as I have in the last 6 months. Where'd that come from? It was used recently on ANTM (America's Next Top Model, another of my favourite reality shows) when Celeste tattled on someone to Tyra Banks.

I wish I had the time to watch the Amazing Race, I really enjoyed it when I did years ago. I recently tried to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County and I felt like I was watching a car wreck, just can't do that one. But I did try.

jacquie jacquie jacquie...ok, i have admit annie got on my nerves this time. i didn't like her patting herself on the back and showing so little humility when she beat clint at his own game. those are like little moments when you show your true colors and should suck it up and be demure. as far as melissa, she freaked out and embarrassed herself. i don't think anyone, umm...placed her beneath a large passenger vehicle...anyway - on to our bet: now that it's annie vs joan...i'm still gonna stick with annie...but if the challenge is throwing a huge benefit gala, then i think joan will have a good chance, as she's surely been to thousands of them...will depend who they bring back to help them out...i bet they bring mellissa back to help joan! good tv....
