I had so much I wanted to get off my chest today, but part of the personal growth I’ve been experiencing through Tara Cronica is learning when to hold back and rethink my position. Sometimes, no matter how right I think I am, it’s better to hold your tongue, or your fingers in this case.
I’m taking a goddess Arya Tara moment, breathing deeply, and thinking about all the ‘lyrical beauty in everyday happenings’ that surround me. It’s finally raining and the grass is green again, naturally, without wasteful watering. That’s a beautiful thing. I had sushi last night and met my daughter’s boyfriend’s parents and had a fantastic time. That’s a beautiful thing. My son remembered to take out the garbage this morning…Beautiful!
That feels so much better!
This weekend I’ll be participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure for breast cancer with a slew of girlfriends. We all got together recently and made team T-shirts, drank pink martinis while cheering on the very lyrically beautiful Donny Osmond on DWTS. A perfect night for us mid-forties gals!
Here we are doing our thang! If you know someone who’s going to be walking, or you just want to help in some way, there’s still time to go to the CIBC Run (or walk) For The Cure website and make a pledge. We can all make a difference.

Thanks Celia, for running all over the city to collect enough sparkly sequined pink martini iron-on patches for our whole team!
Love and Blessings to you all,

Goddess Tara

Good luck with the walk this weekend!
I am sooooo with you on finding the beauty in things right now. I love how the rain has made the grass such a beautiful green again.
Don’t forget your self-exams ladies
What a great thing to be doing ! Hats off to you all ! I will go to the Website as suggested and make a pledge.
Your so right about holding our tongue, when necessary ! We sometimes talk to much with no action behind what we are talking about. Faith without good works is dead…. the two a meant to go hand in hand…. in my opinion.
It’s just as enjoyable to watch the beautiful moments as it is to be apart of them isn’t it.
Good Luck with your weekend. Enjoy it !
Your a true Champion and a Difference Maker ! Well Done !
Thanks Rick and Janet, for spreading the Love! Big smiles to you both!
I can relate to the personal growth you have been experiencing since we started Tara Cronica. I’ve felt it too and so has Tracy. It’s magical the way we have all changed and expanded into more of our true selves. You summed it up perfectly when you penned our intro to our name sake Goddess Arya Tara:
“By studying Tara you can begin a ‘transformation of consciousness, a journey to freedom’. We interpret this to mean that as you learn more about yourself and the world you reach a new level of understanding and compassion for others and gain more confidence in your own decisions and this allows you the freedom to let go of jealousy, material possessiveness, anger and guilt. When your mind lets go of negativity it becomes open to all the good and all the beauty that’s around.”

Wow! You could not have said it more perfectly!
Have a great run! I’m going to the website to make my pledge right now!
Great post Jacquie, I have learned more about myself in the last year through the challenges Tara Cronica gives me on a daily basis. Some good things and some not so good. When you put yourself out there you are forced to face these challenges honestly and passionately. I too have stepped back and tried to Taracronicize my own thoughts and opinions, which I believe has made me a better person. This is exactly why we created Tara Cronica isn’t it! We set out to inspire those around us to live their lives authentically ( ‘to thine own self be true’) and by using our voices loud and clear we can make change, bring awareness and all grow in the process. Through our posts and our readers comments the conversation is opened up which allows all of us to learn and grow, taking a step I think in the right direction. I can’t think of anything else I would rather be doing!
When you take part in such events like Run for the Cure you can’t help but be an inspiration and be inspired !! Win win ! Have a fantastic weekend !!! T xo
