There has been a lot of turmoil in our world lately, but it’s still important to stop what you’re doing and take a break from your daily grind. Whether you call a friend, sip on a warm cup of herbal tea, take the dog for a walk or paint, it’s a great way to get [...]

I was unable to watch the telethon for Haiti on Friday night but I was told by some friends about the highlights and the moving stories told by the celebrity participants. Thanks to YouTube I was able to find some of the incredibly inspirational performances. This one by Justin Timberlake is one of my favourites.

ABC News is reporting that the Susan G. I had more than a few guys question how [...]

Small Ritual Coffee Society is Here!

I drink coffee. Every day. Twice a day often. I love nothing better than to sit at my desk with a homemade cappuccino, answer emails and sort out my thoughts for the day. I always write in the mornings with a large mug precariously close to my mouse pad and flailing fingers, and I rarely [...]

I’m [...]

I got another notice in my email recently that one of the loans I’d made through Kiva had been repaid in full. This meant that I now had another $25 sitting in my Kiva account ready to be loaned out again to another entrepreneur somewhere in the world. Rather than let it sit there, I [...]
