Inspiration for my art comes from teaching primary children for over 3 decades and my love of the outdoors especially the Cariboo (where I live-just down the street from where Bonnie lived on Horse Lake) and time spent in the Yukon hiking in the mountains by Carcross and Haines Jct . I love the mountains of the Yukon! And my other spot to gather inspiration is the Chilcotins. People tell me my art makes them feel happy. I love to paint and my art makes me happy so I'm happy the feelings actually get passed along with the painting. Amazing really.
